FAQ

Why can pricing vary from one client to another?

Final pricing is based on the time, technique, and products needed for your hair, along with its length, density, previous color history and other factors. Prices listed are starting points and may vary depending on your hair. Every head of hair is different, and my goal is to give you results that feel natural, wearable, and right for you.

Does longer or thicker hair cost more?

Yes, it can. Hair length, density, and overall condition all affect the amount of time and care needed to achieve your desired result. Longer or thicker hair often requires additional product and time, which may impact pricing. I always approach this thoughtfully and will talk things through so there are no surprises. Prices listed are starting points and may vary depending on your hair.

What should I share about my hair before the appointment?

Please share any previous color or chemical treatments, including box color, henna, lightening services, or anything that could affect your hair’s integrity. Certain details can change the amount of time needed to safely complete a service, and knowing them ahead of time helps me plan appropriately. If important information isn’t shared in advance, the service may not be able to be performed as scheduled. If you’re unsure whether something is relevant, it’s always best to reach out beforehand so we can talk it through together.

What if I’m not sure which service to book?

That’s completely okay. If you’re unsure, feel free to reach out before booking. I’m always happy to help guide you so we choose the service that best fits your hair and your goals.

Do you offer consultations?

Yes. Consultations are a great idea for new clients and for color services, especially if you’re making a change or have a detailed hair history. This allows us to talk through your goals and create a plan that supports the health of your hair. Brief 15-minute consultations are complimentary and give us time to talk through your goals, answer questions, and make sure we’re choosing the right service for your hair.

What if I need to reschedule or cancel my appointment?

I’ve been fortunate to work with very considerate clients, which has allowed me to keep scheduling flexible rather than having formal cancellation policies. To keep it that way, I ask for open communication and as much notice as possible if plans change. Longer appointments in particular are difficult to fill on short notice. If appointments are repeatedly changed or cancelled, I may need to adjust how future appointments are scheduled or whether we’re the best fit moving forward.
